ITALY FALL TOUR ˜ Saturday, September 29th - Saturday, October 6th Tuscanny - Chianti, Montalcino, San Gimignano Spend 7 days with us as we explore the wine regions of Tuscany. Experience the wines of Chianti, Brunello, Vernaccia di San Gimignano and more, along with the wonderful local food. Includes: 7 days in farmhouse, all meals except 2 dinners, 6 winery tours, cooking class & ground transportation during tour.

Day 1: Arrival and check-in at farmhouse near San Gimignano by 4pm. Welcome reception at local winery including a brief winery tour, tasting & light appetizers. Multi-course dinner at local ristorante in nearby San Gimignano, a medieval 14th century hillside village. Ground transportation to winery and dinner inclusive.
Day 2: Breakfast at villa. Winery visit to Chianti Classico region to one of the oldest family-owned winery & properties in Tuscany. This family property dates back several hundred years and produces world-class wines in addition to goat cheese, olive oil & fruit trees. After, we will have lunch at a small nearby osteria with spectacular views of the Chianti valley. That evening we will dine at local osteria in San Gimignano. Ground transportation, tour and all meals inclusive.
Day 3: Breakfast at pasticceria in San Gimignano. Winery excursion to the Montalcino region. We will visit one of the oldest wineries in Montalcino, famous for the Brunello di Montalcino wine. Our day will take us through the old Camelot as well as their newly remodeled facility built mostly under ground into the hillside. Wine tasting of their famous Brunello, Rosso di Montalcino and Supertuscan wines. We will lunch at nearby osteria. After, we will enjoy a second wine tour of a newer Brunello producer, where we will tour their modern, state of the art production facility. We will finish with a visit to Montalcino village, with time to explore or shop. Dinner will be on your own this evening, giving you time to venture on your own in San Gimignano. Ground transportation, breakfast, lunch inclusive. *Dinner not included.
Day 4: Breakfast at pasticceria in San Gimignano. We return to the Chianti Classico region for a private tour & tasting at one of Chiantis most highly regarded wineries. Our guide Gillian will take us through the family's beautiful castle gardens & private cellar. You will get to experience the story of how a small family winery has become a world-class producer of exceptional wines, in just 30 years. After, we will have a multi-course lunch at the winery especially designed for their wines. That evening we will have dinner at local casual osteria. Ground transportation, tour and all meals inclusive.
Day 5: Breakfast at villa. We will be taking a break from our road trips for a special cooking class at a family owned agriturismo near San Gimignano. Our day will be spent learning how to prepare classic Tuscan dishes such as gnocchi, pici (pasta), several sauces & appetizers. After each course is prepared our group will get to sit and enjoy our fare paired with local wines, all outside on the patio (weather permitting). Ground transportation, cooking class and lunch inclusive. Guests are free to dine on their own this evening. Dinner not included.
Day 6: Breakfast at pasticceria in San Gimignano. Our winery excursion takes us to the area of Montevarchi to the small commune of Caposelvi. We will visit a very small, family-owned organic winery that produces Chianti wines. Though their facility is the smallest operation along our tour, the winemaker is charming and his wines outstanding quality. That evening we will prepare a family style multi-course meal at our farmhouse. Ground transportation, tour, and all meals inclusive.
Day 7: Breakfast at villa. We will visit San Gimignano for our last day together, for one last casual wine tasting or shopping if you prefer. Light lunch offered at farmhouse. That evening we will dine altogether for the last time with a multi-course farewell dinner at an amazing ristorante in San Gimignano. Ground transportation, tour, and dinner all-inclusive.
Day 8: Breakfast at farmhouse. Checkout of villa by 10am. Transportation to Florence airport or train station provided at scheduled time.
